Delivery Partners
At Digital Direct we aim to give our customers the most efficient and secure service. To do this effectively we utilise three different delivery companies. The choice of which company we use for your order will be dependent upon a number of factors including the size, weight and type of product which you have ordered.
Please note that we currently do not ship outside the mainland UK and certain products cannot be delivered to extreme parts of the UK.
You will be emailed typically 72 hours after an order has been placed determining the delivery method.
Where different items are ordered together (eg a plasma TV and a HDMI cable) they will usually be shipped together. Therefore the largest item in your order will determine the delivery company used from this list:
XDP Express
LCD over 26" and Plasma televisions
Orders containing larger TVs (typically over 40" LCD and all plasmas) are aimed to be delivered within 10 working days. You will receive a courtesy email the evening before the delivery confirming whether it will be a morning or afternoon service.
Orders containing LCD TVs between 26" and 40" have a delivery target of 5 working days.
Next day and Saturday delivery options are usually available (at extra cost) for telephone orders.
City Link
Small items - DVD recorders, digital cameras, camcorders and LCD televisions (26" and under)
Once the order has been processed, you should receive a confirmation mail and the item will be collected for delivery. We aim for all items sent via Initial City Link to reach the customer within 5 working days.
A next day service is usually available (at extra cost) for telephone orders.
Royal Mail
Very small items - tapes, CDs and speaker wires
Once an order with only small items has been processed, items are sent out by First Class mail with the aim of reaching the customer within 5 working days.
